What is a Chamber of Commerce and Industry?
A Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a voluntary partnership of Business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in the community and its environs.
What is your Local Chamber?
Your Local Chamber, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rizal, Inc. [CCIRI] was established in 1963 after having been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock corporation. Your Chamber is an active participant in the development of the province and its enterprises.
What are the objectives of your Chamber?
The primary purpose of your Chamber is to promote the business and economic interest of its members as well as that of the province and the country in general. CCIRI also aims:
1. Protect the interest of the business community from undue pressure, encroachment, and unfair competition or trade practices including any discriminatory government taxation or regulations.
2. initiate or sponsor the organization of trade cooperatives or financial institutions beneficial to the members of organization or work for financial aids or loans for the members from lending institution
3. Help in the promotion of industries designed to boost the economy of Rizal and its environs through sponsorship of publication of newsletters and trade journals.
4. Extend the benefits of membership in the chamber to as much business man in the area in order that better understanding, cooperation, and cohesiveness are promoted within the business community. Cooperate closely with the government and its instrumentalities, uphold the standards of legitimate business, and uphold the government’s right of reasonable taxation and to keep members informed on all application trade and internal revenue laws.
